Over Half of Age of Conan Servers to Merge

In an effort to stabilize overall player populations, Funcom has revealed their plans to consolidate over half of the servers for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. Originally brought to the table by director Craig Morrison late last year, these mergers should serve to improve the barbaric MMORPG's social aspects and in-game economy, as well as bolstering PVP competition.

Effective sometime this week, the following groups of servers will be fused into single, more densely-populated realms. The first server listed from each section will retain its name and status, and characters from subsequent realms should be automatically transferred to the remaining servers:
